AM is somewhat entertaining if you can get your hands on a copy but if you paid full price you'll kick yourself for giving up two mortgage payments for purchasing it.

This is old, outdated technology, entertainment. I'm sorry Mystery put this out. Long, poorly formatted. Mystery is so much better than this stuff. You would learn more by buying 8 copies of Revelation and reading it 8 times in 8 diffrent places.

I'm almost done with the DVDs and I can say they are incredibly useful, although not enough to justify the price.
Having never been to a live seminar, the seminar DVDs are great, and provide some strong visual content to make things sink in although I must agree with the previous posters that the audio content is where the real gold is at. I have been able to tie in more genuinely interesting conversation topics, pickup strategies, and personal development from Lovedrops audio than from any of the DVDs. Lovedrop is possibly the chillest and most sensible guy in the scene, and is not only a font of knowledge, but a real good teacher.
The live footage is real [thing] though, but fortunately thats only 1 of 20 dvds. Though, I am surprised to see the limited production capabilities of from men who have connections anywhere they want. Flash decks, or at least some fucking powerpoint! For 2gs I want a fucking textbook with diagrams and a quick study guides! This is a great course but these guys should take themselves more seriously and realize how important what they're teaching really is.
Recommended for the wealthy or the serious startup.

The infield part was poor mostly. There was a 2 set which Matador opened and then later MYstery joined. Matador just came off as a social robot. He kept on repeating 'get off me now', 'don't get any thoughts' to the point where he's just like an answering machine. His body movements were rigid and he didn't seem to know what to say when mystery enetered the set. Overall, the girls weren't having a lot of fun and neiother were Mystery and matador.
Another thing is the way Mystery gains social proof by talking about how cool his friends are and repeatedly offering the girls to meet his friends came off as too eager and show off. The girls werent interested in his social life really, maybe more interested in getting on camera whatever.

Okay, a friend of mine dropped $2,500 on this and he's really dissapointed and so am I after watching it.
He fell for Mike Long's marketing hype (there are always those that do). Now here's my rundown on what I've seen:
We skipped the "Video Brain Transplant" (9 DVD's) because it looked like it was just a recycled video taping of one of his seminars, which my buddy has already been to.
I didn't get much new out of the "Social Cybernetics" (5 DVD's). In my opinion, 95% of the information can be gleaned from Mystery's first 5 DVD set and by watching the extra's from VH1's The Pickup Artist. As usual, Mystery did a great job of conveying the finer points of the Mystery Method (or whatever its called now); however, I was disappointed with Matador's speech on Microcalibration. It was clearly un-rehearsed and he seemed to, at times, stumble through it by constantly repeating himself. In the end, I was a bit confused as to whether you should micro-calibrate a IOI with an IOI and IOD with an IOD, or the other way around... The whole Social Cybernetics series seemed to be quite unprofessional, almost as if filmed on a whim with little or no time taken for editing.
The last part we watched was the "Holy Grail" (1 DVD), which is the one DVD devoted to Mystery infield with cameras. I was very much looking forward to this one, after hearing Matador & Mystery talk about advanced topics such as rolling off, micro-calibration and forward/backward merging. Unfortunately, you won't see much, if any, of those things in the infield video. It starts off in a club with Mystery being following around by a bunch of cameramen. He tells lovedrop he doesnt want to open the set behind him cause he wants really hot girls. He explains he's going to start by getting some social proof and then open some hot girls. So, a few seconds later, a girl (HB6chubby) opens him and asks him about the cameramen following him around. He locks in (good job) but then it goes downhill from there. His routines are nothing new (but that doesnt bother me)... but what happens next is most surprising...
The girls friends show up, an HB7 and HB8 and two guys. The guys start chatting with Mystery, and apparently one (or both) of them know he's a PUA cause they start talking about game. Mystery tries to neg the HB8, but it is to no avail, the HB7 and HB8 start to lose interest and they leave, and Mystery can't keep them. So he's left chatting with two guys, even the HB6chubby is no longer paying attention to him at this point and starts chatting with someone on her left. One of the guys starts to kind of AMOG Mystery by poking fun of his hat and scarf. He then grabs Mysterys' scarf and says he needs it. So Mystery ends up giving it to him. To Mystery's credit, it really wasn't an AMOG, and he did defuse, but why did he waste so much time with these guys and lose all the girls? Then the guys leave, and Mystery is left sitting there, kinda looking around with nobody to talk to, cause the HB6chubby is chatting with her other friend. Lovedrop quickly runs in (as he should) to chat with Mystery to prevent him from losing more value.. A few moments later, Mystery reopens the HB6chubby and lovedrop vanishes. They chat for a while, all the while there is no kino escalation whatsoever from mystery. He does some vanishing straw magic trick and keeps talking about how he wants to introduce her to his friends, and then the girl tells him he should try some "slutty red head" drink. Mystery says something to the effect "ok, you get the first round". He tells her to go get him a drink and she refuses to go w/o him. So he takes her by the arm and they go to the bar to buy a drink.... AND THEN... the most amazing thing happens....
Mystery ends up paying for the drinks!!!! The camera cut out for a bit, so I can't tell what happened, but she probably told him she didnt have any money or soemthing. He can be seen paying for the drinks and then saying "ok, you get the next ones". He then takes her back to his friends and introduces her. A few moments later, she annouces she'll be back and leaves... and then the video fades to black. I doubt Mystery ever got a drink from her.
The 2nd infield video was a little better, but not much. It starts with some dude talking to a 2-set. Matador shows up and is introduced. He starts stacking routines like a used car salesman! First the best friends test, then the esp routine, then the c smile..... I didn't notice much (if any) microcalibration... and there were no roll-offs! (He spent 40 minutes talking about roll offs in Social Cyberdynamics and then doesn't demonstrate!). Well, to make a long story short, they end up bringing them back to their friends in the VIP area.... but a bit later, the girls friends interrupt (external interrupt), and then the video fades to black. presumably cause they lost the set.
By this point, I was dissapointed to see two infield videos of Mystery, and no number close, no kiss close, not even any kino escalation! Then the 3rd video started. This is the one that was in the Marketing for Mind of Mystery (the Magnum Opus) sent out by mike long. The white party video.. So no need to comment on this one... by this time, it was getting late, and I had to leave, so I didn't finish the videos, but I'll swing by my friends place later and finish this review (hopefully it doesnt get deleted).
In all, I was quite dissapointed. For $2,500, in my opinion, your money is better spent elsewhere. I've done sets that turned out the same or better than in Mystery's infield videos. Its not like they were really bad, but he has a reputation as a Pick-up Guru, and what I saw was equivalent to someone who's been practicing game for about 6 months. Nothing spectacular at all... or... perhaps he wants to show what a typical set will look like. In my experience, nobody I have met will kiss/number close every set every time. Perhaps the PickUp Gurus are more human than we thought....
Hope this review helps you guys.
Ok... my friend dropped off the Infield DVD, and i just finished watching the 3rd video (White Party).. You guys have already seen it on youtube and in the marketing stuff that mike long sent out. In this video, Mystery definately does everything right. He builds attraction and gets alot of compliance from a girl who is getting married. Unfortunately, her fiance was there so Mystery did not try to go any further (props to him for that)... Her interest really peaked after he did a magic trick where he moved her straw. She admitted to him after that, that she is into Energy and new age shit..
The 4th video was also better... Mystery ends up kiss closing a 50 yr old lady.. ugh.. Have to give it to him, he had alot of social proof in the room, especially with all those camera's following him. Girls would just go up to him and open asking "why is everyone filming you tonight?" Wonder how well he would do w/o all the cameras.

I have to be honest, this is some of the worst garbage I've ever seen. The In-Field videos were whack, the AMOGing DVD was crap also, aside from what Fader said, when lovedrop, who is by far the only normal guy in the the crew, tooled Matador HARDCORE.
IDK if anyone else gets this, I read it on Future's blog, that Matador's entire personality is an apparition, and I felt hardcore that this was true. He looks really cool in actuality but he sounds so..deliberate..in..everything that he says. It's annoying after awhile, I know you have to pause and speak more slowly, but he sounds so rehearsed. He is also super nasal, and sounds like a coke fiend.
In DVD 7 he looks so coked out too.
Bottom Line, IMO, I would buy EVERY Interview Series, Magic Bullets and a Custom Routine Stack before I ever bought this.

The Good
What I highly recommend to everyone with the Mind of Mystery is put the Audio Brain Transplant on your iPod. This action alone was enough to make the Mind of Mystery worth the price. I overlooked the Audio until I was the majority of the way through the video. They didn't add the Audio on as a bonus. The infield footage was a bonus. There is so much information packed into the Audio. It's over 14 HOURS of dense, seriously dense pickup. I walk around listening to it and I can not stress enough how important this element of the TMoM is. My body of knowledge has expanded so greatly and so comprehensively that I do not even recognize what I was working with before. I thought I had game. I - didn't - have - shit.
The Bad
When I popped in the first DVD I was pissed. For some reason in the rush to send out TMoM they packaged the DVDs non-sequentially in terms of which you should watch first. The first DVD I saw was AMOGing. My first impression was seeing top PUAs assert dominance and try to rip each other down. It's not flattering. Theres Matador picking a fight with Mystery to piss him off. Then Mystery is just blowing him off. Basically I didn't get it. I had no idea what was going on. It looked really petty. Until I learned more about AMOGing I didnt realize that they were demonstrating different AMOG styles. Matador was very direct and aggressive, Mystery was demonstrating alpha characteristics by blowing him off and not accepting his frame, and Lovedrop was more playful. At face value it totally blowed. I really wondered why they included it at all until I understood the concept more.
Expect a lot of back and forth reviews of TMoM in relation to how much someone has studied the presented material.
The in-field footage
It's slow. It's almost frustrating at first glance. I expected to just watch the video and see fast paced action and be able to mimic Mystery and be a ridiculous pickup artist on demand. No. Don't expect that. It's more subtle. Listen to all of the Audio first, then the microcalibration, and finally the boot-camp seminar stuff. Once you've looked through all of that then you can check out the in-field footage. What I did was sit there and actually critique the game that is played. I know its Mystery, but critique it carefully. Like he should be doing this now and he'd totally have her but oh no he can't because that was an external interrupt and he has to…blah blah blah you get the point. No pickup is perfect and the available sets were far from perfect. You can tell the sets are really tainted (cameramen are around videotaping), Mystery is under pressure to produce on demand which honestly there is no way to do. He has to stay visible to cameras. He can't go bouncing around the bar and create and attractive aura. Pickup is a lot about your vibe and all those cameras sort of killed it. To be honest I expected more from the in-field footage. If it was done VH1 style with hidden cameras it would have been much better.
Video length
I was a bit frustrated by the length of video on each DVD. Each DVD has a specific focus, so each DVD is not full movie length which is what I was expecting. I was expecting a full hour and a half on each topic and it's more like 45 minutes. The stuff is dense though. What I would have appreciated is to see more playing with ideas. Like the neg is an area where I could definitely improve. I would have gained from seeing Matador critique the students' delivery in the bootcamp DVDs. Now I doubt they could have received consent to film and release that video, but the DVDs should have had more fluff tacked on to the end to show you both what to and what not to do.
If you have Lovedrop's voice running through your head every free minute for a solid week, Stuff changes. I recognize Everything now. I see things differently. I field tested a handful of fresh openers, I'm taking girls on my arms, I opened a seated 4 set of hot sorority girls that wanted to do their own thing. Then I got there and they wanted to do, what I wanted to do. All of this happened on my first night out implementing TMoM. Until you have everything laid out in front of you, you don't realize how little you know.
I was not in the game before. I thought I had game because I got laid consistently. That's not game, that's playing day-game probability and juggling relationships well. I passed up a HB10+ a couple years ago because for one night I played great game and didn't even realize it. Not even after years of looking back did I pick up on all the nuances. Once they are pointed out its like "How could I have been so blind." It's a night and day difference. All I had to do was f-close this amazingly beautiful and yes brilliant girl, perfect, but I didn't even see it (Still a little bitter for being so stupid). Knowing what you are doing makes all the difference in the world. TMoM is a course in what you should know.
The video is the lecture you would get in a boot camp and more. They go into so much information I'd waste a solid hour paraphrasing the topics covered.
It is worth it. It costs as much as a single course at my school but, in terms of my life, its worth as much as all four years of undergrad.
Equivalent dollars in clothes, incomparable. Equivalent dollars on a car, incomparable. Equivalent dollars on anything, incomparable. I spent almost every dime I had on this course and I'm still happy eating ramen every day knowing I have it. You would never be able to reconstitute all of this information on your own. I am very happy and I can tell already, I'm going to be living like a Rock Star!

I've watched the amogging bit and some of the kino parts at my buddies place. I probably won't finish it since it doesn't fit with me but I still have to give them credit. In those two dvds they really know their stuff. You can see them really take out each other in the amogging bit - a bit unprofessional however.
One thing I caught onto was that Mystery was doing NLP on us.
He says something to the effect of 'hey, you can watch this but you really need someone to teach you.' Self Points.
Interesting. He does things like this throughout.

The bonus dvds are not very good and during the in-field footage Mystery doesn't seem to be doing anything that special but he still manages to get the girl most of the time and most of them are hotties apart from the old granny. The audio series by Lovedrop is the best bit of the entire Mind of Mystery course. These audio CD's are really good and the seminar DVD's are really good too. I would say that once you have the Mind of Mystery home study course although it isn't worth the price you will have all the information you need to get good at pickup. After that I think it's just about application.

Hi guys, just want to make my own review on this thing..
First off, when I picked up the package at the post office, I thought to myself that this can't be the whole set.. it was so small.. but, when I came home and opened the thing.. it was.. and I got pretty disappointed.. why? Well.. this is maybe a weird thing to care about, but it looked NO-WAY like the pictures they posted at area51, with all the DVD's neatly packed in separate covers, nice colors and stuff.. Oh well.. over to the stuff that really matters..
The second thing I noticed, and this is bad, was the big "book".. they advertised this as "The Blueprint". Well, I expected a total A-Z book on the whole Venusian Arts.. like a super-extended Venusian Arts Handbook.. but no.. this was simply a transcript of the Audio CDs.. what a RIP-OFF! Why would I spend time on reading it, when I can listen to Lovedrop on the CDs?
The Audio CDs rock.. Lovedrop is really good at teaching this stuff.. Every CD is pretty much filled up too.. no 30 minute CDs and BS like that.
And then..
The Video Brain Transplant..
This is simply videotaped parts of a boot-camp... What? We actually pay for something other people already paid for? And we don't even get it all.
There is some good stuff in here, but there is no structure what so ever. The videos start in the middle of topics.. and ends abruptly.. What's up with that? Specially when all the DVDs are less than half full.. Wow.. major disappointment! And it is so badly produced.. At times you watch a blank wall.. they didn't even care to move the camera. The sounds sucks big time, this could have been fixed my renting stuff for $100. The whole thing smells amateur..
Social Cybernetics..
Again.. not very well produced, but this time they actually made more effort to make it for the camera and you can see that it was indented for Mind of Mystery costumers. But.. the sound sucks.. either distorted sound.. or no sound at all.. some of the stuff you can almost not hear at all.. just thru some other dudes mic.. again.. they could have spent a tiny amount of money and gotten it perfect. I honestly hope they didn't hire a guy to do the sound.. if so, he should be kicked out of the sound industry for ever.. (sorry man..). The camera operators and producer is also really bad..
As the Brain Dump DVDs.. the topics get cut off.. and the editor (if there was one) didn't even bother cutting out the bloopers.. wow.. it happens so many times that either mystery or matador says.. ok, go again.. and start over.. haha.. it's ridicules! Amature, amature, amature! (not the PUAs, but the production/post production).
Overall this is a not-planned, badly produced product which is not worth nearly the $2500 we had to pay.. The bright spot in this set is the Audio Mind Dump, even tho the audio quality is bad.. I actually learned some stuff from the CDs.. But.. where did all the new-high-end material go? The only thing they talk about is old routines.. like who lies more, jealous girlfriend and stuff like that.. wow.. I am disappointed
Mystery.. I really thought you would do better than this..
After doing the VH1 show, you can't call this a professional production (as stated in all the BS marketing mails and so on). This is as amature as it gets..
I still respect Mystery, Matador and Lovedrop for their PUA skills, you guys are awesome.. but you did not manage to pull this off..
And yes.. if someone would ask me, as Mike Long did, if I could produce anything better... yes.. if I was the producer of this set.. I can truly say that I would have done it a lot better...
I am sorry to write all this negative stuff.. but I can't lie about what I feel and think about this..
Thanks Mystery, Lovedrop and Matador.. you have done a lot to the community, and it has truly changed my life. I just wish you could have done this better..
