Omega Male by Dr. Paul Dobransky has a large amount of information that Dr. Paul claims is based on science. Omega Male provides a lot of detailed theoretical models about men, women, masculinity, what it means to be a man, how to develop character, theories for how to be more attractive, theories about what women are attracted to, and on and on. LOTS of theory. Lots of models. Lots of diagrams. Dr. Paul loves diagrams. In the world of Dr. Paul, everything seems to best be explained in the form of models and diagrams. Diagrams that fit together nicely and explain how things really work, according to 'science'.

Well, when I first went through the Omega Male DVD set, I was impressed with the quality of the information, and the thoroughness in which Dr. Paul teaches his content. I learned a lot and the content did make me think a great deal. However, in the years since I purchased Omega Male, I'm not too sure how much value all of this theory really provides. There can be too much theory, and not enough action and results.

I also have come to question the value of 'science' that Dr. Paul likes to talk about. He is a physician. Physicians are trained in the scientific method. But that does not mean all, or most, of what Dr. Paul teaches is scientifically proven. Has he done any studies of his own that scientifically demonstrate what he teaches leads to more success with dating women? If he has done his own original research, I'd love to see it. But I don't think he has, or he would promote it or at least talk about it.

Personally I feel the book Models: Attract Women Through Honesty by Mark Mason is a much better investment of your time and money.
It's one thing to say you are a scientist and you have studied scientific theory. It's altogether something else to put forth your own training ideas and methods and suggest they are based on science. That does not mean the methods Dr. Paul personally teaches are scientifically validated to result it increased success with women. In my opinion if Dr. Paul really wants to teach the 'Science of Being a Man' then he should conduct his own controlled scientific studies that demonstrate - scientifically, the methods he teaches actually result in increased success with women.

The other thing that I find unsettling about Omega Male is Dr. Paul talks about his failed engagement years ago, and how the pain of that experience put him on a path to figure out how to be successful with women. Yet he does not talk much about his successes. I was on weekly conference calls for a while and it seemed like Dr. Paul had very little to say about his own success with women. Maybe he is really successful and dates frequently. If that is the case, he might consider talking about it more on his programs and conference calls so students can see that he walks his talk and actually gets results with women from all that theory.
